We provide the safe surgical alterations for your pet at reasonable prices. All surgery prices include or offer you the option to elect additional services: an exam, the procedure, anesthesia, EKG, blood pressure, instrument pack, sutures, anti-inflammatory pain injection, pain medication to go home, and technician monitoring before, during and after the procedure until your pet is sent home. A complimentary re-check is included within the 3-5 days from surgery so that we may check to see that your pet is healing well. If there are sutures to remove, then you also have a complimentary suture removal 12-14 days post surgery, depending on how long it takes for your pet to heal.
We accept walk-ins, appointments are required for surgical (i.e. spay & neuter), dental and boarding services.
At Companion Pet Clinic, walk-ins are welcome so there's no need to schedule an appointment ahead of time; simply drop in at your convenience. We recommend allowing at least an hour for your visit as there may be a short wait if the clinic is busy. Feel free to call ahead with any questions or concerns and we will be happy to discuss them with you! (However, please note that for your pet's safety, we cannot diagnose your pet or prescribe medication without performing an in-clinic exam. Estimates cannot always be provided over the phone.) We stop seeing exams half an hour before closing time, but all other non-exam visits can be done up to closing time.
At Companion Pet Clinic, we can care for:
- Pocket Pets/Exotics (only when Dr. Koller is working, call to schedule)
We have a fully stocked pharmacy to meet the needs for your pet's health. For over the counter medicine, such as flea and tick prevention, you can drop by the clinic when it's convenient and pick up what you need unless it is an oral medication flea/tick prevention. Oral flea/tick medication requires an annual exam after that the prescription is good for a year. Many prescriptions can easily be refilled when needed. Please contact the clinic at least 24 hours before you need a refill of your pet's medication. We may need to get a refill authorization from the doctor before filling the prescription. There are some instances when an exam or blood tests are needed before a prescription can be refilled. If this occurs we will notify you as soon as possible or if you haven't heard from us after 24 hours please call to check on your prescription refill. Please be aware that we are legally required to have a doctor examine your pet within one year to fill any prescription.
